Weird windows prob
I recently had a prob with windows in that it suddenly started denying me access to some folders.
I cannot delete or move folders or access some files as it comes up with an access denied error. I tried re-installing windows but still the same prob.
Any ideas?
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

Logged on as admin?
All Service Packed, Spyware and virus scanned?
does it ever give you an 'invalid MSDOS function' error?
I have every service pack, and there is no spyware or virus as I have checked for that. The folders that I cannot delete/access is unused desktop shortcuts and music folder. I could also not move my favourites folder whant I wanted to(after I re-installed windows, it created a new favourites folder so I had to try and move all my old favourites). I get no errors apart from access denied.
