Question Making an ISO from a folder?

I'm trying to put software on my portable am trying to install a (legit) version of Rosetta Stone. You install extra 'packs' by opening the main app then its supposed to find the next disc in the drive & install etc (total of 5)

My problem is I have no optical drive on this thing! I've installed the main app, everything else I need I copied from CD to USB now how can I get it to a 'fake' optical drive?
I'm trying virtual clonedrive but it only mounts .iso, how can I get a set of folder to an iso so I can mount it? or isthere a better way?

I hope that makes sense, it doesn't to me when reading it back

    Thanks folks!

    Rob

I take it the stuff came on CDs or DVDs etc. Why not image them using image burn and use the
virtual cd drive with them. I have more luck with daemontools lite than virtual clonedrive

I'll try daemon tools (incase it can mount folders?) but that sort of thing looks like what I'm after Raz

+1 for ImgBurn to do what the OP title says - it can make isos from a set of files/folders or from an optical disc.

Re: Making an ISO from a folder?

Use Virtualclonedrive to mount and IMGBurn to make the ISO

Don't use Daemon tools, it's crap, they don't even make the driver for it

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

The problem with virtual clone drive is it doesnt support some common image types like bin/cue
not important in this case though.

From a guy who works at Microsoft. Or as already pointed out, if you have IMG Burn already installed use that.

Re: Making an ISO from a folder?

I tried to convert one of my audio cd images (bin/cue), virtualclonedrive wouldnt load the
image. I searched on google and to my surprise it was stated that it doesnt support it, so i used
daemon tools lite and it worked no probs.

Re: Making an ISO from a folder?

Virtual CloneDrive is a mounting software, not a burning software mate. That's why it didn't work.
