    Picture and Video Repair programs?

Same as last thread that was unanswered, all my pictures and videos are corrupt, what is best to repair them with, pictures wise, some are showing part of the pic, some none, all same file size and format as was before problem.

Video wise, once repaired with a diff program works fine, but audio out of sync.

If you want to re-sync audio you can do it in VLC or if you want to change it permanently you'll have to drop it into an editing program. Theres a few file recovery programs i can recommend for mac if you still have the volumes they were originally from, if they are from a camera.

I believe you can split the audio from the video using TMPGNC and then recombine. In order to do that you'll need to know what the delay is, assuming that it's a linear difference.

Sounds like a filesystem problem. You will need to give us more info. Is this on your 'who needs a PC when you've got a mac' mac for starters? Do macs keep a lost+found directory in home dirs? Is it full of files?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

"DivFix++" is a software for your help....
DivFix++ is a free and open source software. DivFix++ repairs broken AVI file streams by rebuilding index part of file. This is very useful when trying to preview movies which has no index part...
Also DivFix++ has a nice and easy to use interface. The various options are available in form of buttons. It also comes with a command line option which is good for advanced users........!
