    Need help with a Mac

My brother has a Mac, it's running Snow Leopard as the OS. He uses the Mail client to get his email but when he clicks on a hyperlink inside an email it opens up the app store. Opening attachments opens them in their relevant programs fine.

Does anyone know what could cause this? I'm assuming that the OS doesn't know to use Safari to open hyperlinks, which I could fix in Windows, but have no idea where to look on a Mac.

    Cheers in advance,

    Allen

in Safari click Preferences>General - you should be able to set the default browser there.

as happy as only a mac owner can be, when you dangle shiny white things in front of their eyes and they go ooooohhh and stare at them for hours!

ahem, not actually here to bait fanbois, but to thank you two for this, had this issue at work the other day and didnt have a clue how to solve it, now i do, thanks

Violence and Lubrication is the solution to fixing everything, if it still doesn't work, you need more lubrication.
