Question Office 2000 with windows XP

I have microsoft office 2000, and am also building a computer that will have windows XP as its operating system. My brother says that office 2000 won't work with XP, but I think it will. Who's right?

    * Will office 2000 work with windows XP? *

    Thanks

    no reason why not
er, if your northbridge fan is humming loudly, disconnect it. _dont_ kick the side of the case, it _will_ break it.
    i know :/

OK - guess I'm right - thought so. Either my brother was trying to be funny, or he was just being daft.
