Time Stamping Ping or Use another app.

I have need to run a ping on a device and have the replys ect timestamped (am trying to prove that some one is turning a device off overnight)

    Code:
    ping "host" > "host.txt"
I can output ping to a log file with > but I need to have a time stamp so I know when it drops off.

Is this something that can be done with the Windows ping or will I need some other app to do this ?

    Thanks

    Drew

Drew, you could use date /T and time /T (Dos commands).

They will then show up on your output file.
