    Question Winamp 5 Remote Control for PocketPC

    I am looking to control Winamp 5 using an iPaq over a wireless LAN, and need a remote control plugin for Winamp and a program to run on the iPaq. I have found a couple for Winamp 2 / 3, but as yet haven't had any luck with getting Winamp 5 remote controls.

    Do any exist? Failing that, do any exist for Windows Media Player?

    Thanks

    Yes - you can, although remote plugins tend to be seperate programs that run in your taskbar and execute macros ... which means they may not work at all if for eg the shortcut keys have been changed.

    Winamp 5 is supposed to support all WA2 & 3 plugins - so stick it in the plugins directory if you can, and give it a go!
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Hmm I've found some definite ones which will work with Windows Media Player.

    Didn't really want to do it on a "suck it and see" basis as the main reason for buying a PocketPC would be for this

    it would?

    you'd find it easier (and cheaper!) to get a blootoof module and an old t68 mobile, i know there are apps to control itunes on mac with them
