Firefox and passwords.

Occasion Firefox seems to not automatically sign you into sites that I've asked it to remember passwords for, Has anyone else had this problem and why does it do it ?

No idea why it does this but yeah I get that issue.

That's 2 different issues. Remembering the password only does so when you're logged out of a site and add the login name/email address - at that point the password should automatically fill in, but it won't log you in automatically.

Yeah, That is what I mean. It won't automatically fill in the username and password when you return to a sites log in page. It seems to do it everytime for all the sites I got it to remember and then suddenly it won't fill in the username or password for any of them.

Are the sites in the exception list?

I can't say I've had that issue myself.

it used to be fine and then I just switched on the PC the other day and it would not autofill the boxes and sites where I had opted to stay logged in, I'd been logged out.

It has done it before but, I've no idea why.

Just a few days ago both mine and my wifes pc's decided to reset all our saved usernames and passwords on firefox 6.0

get lastpass. forget about all those built-in browsers passwords manager. seriously. you will thank me later.
