Office 2000 with windows XP

I have microsoft office 2000, and am also building a computer that will have windows XP as its operating system. My brother says that office 2000 won't work with XP, but I think it will. Who's right?

Installed it today on a clients pc running xp pro, works fine

Our head accounts bod was running O2K Pro for months on XP before I upgraded him recently. Worked fine.

Yup mine works fine too. Had office XP but i took it off because it was doing annoying things, so yeh 2000 works perfectly on winxp

Yeah running Office 2k here on xp no probs, just updated to the last service pack.....is there anything in the new 2003 version thats worth upgrading to ?
