    Centrally managed USB storage managemeent/encryption

I have been looking for a peice of software to allow centrally managed USB encryption across a WAN.

All USB ports on all machines need to be locked down unless an authorised USB stick is used.

I've been looking around and see there are a plethora of options available......I was wondering if anyone has used any of them and what they thought!

Probably no good to you if you really do slam the USB ports shut. Our lot went with Corsair 'padlock' sticks and prohibit staff from using anything else by staff Acceptable Use policy. They're good as you don't need a driver or any hassle like that.

BEcrypt Advanced Port Control is a CESG approved product which is usually a good indication of effectiveness.

Re: Centrally managed USB storage managemeent/encryption

Where I work, we use a product called Sanctuary from Lumension Security.

It allows central management of features including device control of anything you can connect to your computer, internally and externally.
