What I've done.
-Checked all cabling.
-Literally taken computer apart and put it back together a few times.
-Reset BIOS to default.
-Boot order is correct.
-Checked HDD health
I've done more but hopefully that covers most of the options I've tried.
FYI- My optical drive is nuts. It doesn't read discs and freezes windows explorer until I eject the CD. I'd tried many DVDs and CDs. If I open a CD through UltraISO it will show me what's on disc and then Windows Explorer will work for a little while. If I look at files on a DVD through third party program like UltraISO then I can play the DVD. This makes no sense at all to me. I've updated driver on it. Same thing. Maybe this crazy optical drive is the culprit.![]()
