Partitionmagic 8 and Reiserf FS file system support

Just a quick question really. Just wanted to know if any one knew of any patches or updates to PM8 which would allow me to create ReiserFS parititions for linux, currently only upto ext3 is supported. Thanks

The only patch that's available takes it to version 8.01 and is available here. Unfortunately the read me file doesn't mention what it changes/updates.

Just installed the patch, and there still doesnt seem to be any suport for reiserfs, i dont know pm that well but looking round it i cant find any changes, i think the update is for the rescue disks, the readme talks about these rather than anything else.

Knoppix comes with everything you need -

    fdisk to create/delete partitions
    gparted to resize partitions
mke2fs / mkreiserfs to create the filesystems (format)

Thanks oyster. Im thinking of useing Knoppix to install gentoo. Would it be easier this way rather than using the gentoo live cd?
