SSD Help deciding where to install stuff

I finally got my new pc up and running with a shiny crucial m4 128gb ssd for my windows drive.

I`m now sat here trying to work out where to install stuff. FIrst up is steam. I have read about junctions etc and was wondering weather I should install Steam on my ssd and then junction games over to another drive or install steam on my other hd ?

    Cheers for any help

install this to do the symbolic links the easy way
    Link Shell Extension
then you can install steam to the SSD and move installs you dont use much (old games etc) to the other drive by cut and paste, then use the right click to pick the link source (the moved folder) and drop the link back in its original place.

paging file, temp files etc can be moved form advanced system settings instea dof using link.

Is it possible to get Steam to install the games to the other drive as standard or do I need to install them to the SSD to start with?

ALso I have 8gb ram. Will I still need a page file?

steam will only install to one location, you could install to the hard drive and link popular games to the SSD or the other way round, personally i install windows and games to the ssd with a few other choice appllications i want to run fast, then shift less popular games, tf2, css, portal to the hard drive.

Just move the page file over to the HDD, no point in disabling it.
