    any ideas? Looked on google and it said it was nvidias driver. So ive told my sister to download the newest drivers. It only seems to happen when she is playing cs.

    I had somebody with an ATI card get that the other day, and a search for 0x8E on technet didn't reveal much. The same search on google did revel that other geforce users have had it though.

    Update the drivers, and ensure the chipset driver is up to date too (particularly the agp driver.)

    Also, when was the last time any drivers/software was updated, as that may have caused the problem.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    The strange thing is the drivers havent been updated in like 2 months. It was all running fine untill about 5 days ago. At first cs just pauses for like 5 seconds and then starts working again. About 2 minutes after it gives the bsod. I thought it was a virus at first. Updated the nvidia drivers to the newest today and still gave the problem. Would overheating of the gfx be able to cause this?

    Could be. This recent heat wave has been playing havoc with computers.

    Its a Geforce Ddr (State of the art). Even the back of the card runs so hot that if you touch it for more than 2 seconds you burn yourself. Is this normal?
