Unhappy Acronis True Image backup problem.

I use Acronis True Image Home v11 for imaging my drives when I do clean installs etc.
the problem I have been having is after saving the images (*tib) to a hardrives or partitions, I cannot get them to burn properly to DVD's.

It always says it burns 100% correctly and then on verification fails within the burning program they fail and when check & verified within Acronis they also obviously fail.

Its a real pain as old backups which I never used to check all fail when verifying

I have tried this on different PC's so I know it is not a dvdrw problem etc.

    any ideas ?

    thanks

Are you burning at full speed? try doing it slower and see.

If you are using the newer acronis and verifying old images they will show as corrupt even though they are not.

Re: Acronis True Image backup problem.

I have tried different speeds / discs etc

and no these are new images from v11.

its just odd that the burning programs (which I have tried different ones) say completed fine but then always fail on verification.

for example. I create a backup *tib file on a partition (or external). these backups work 100% no problems. I then burn the *tib to dvd disc and the problems occur

Is there a file size limit on a DVD? I don't know but the idea crossed my mind.

Edit: a quick google found this
