    Discounted Copy of Windows 7?

Does anyone know if anywhere is offering Windows 7 at a discount? Or where I can find it for the best price possible please?

    Thanks,
    /Rookie

Crucial M4's is what most would suggest, just replaced my Samsung 128GB SSD in my laptop with a Crucial M4 128GB and the difference is amazing

Thanks for that, now I know this might sound silly but does it just plug-in like a standard HDD and then I can boot windows from CD and install it or are these things a little bit different?

Yeah you can treat it as a regular drive, Windows 7 will disable things like de-fragmenting for you.

If you get that upgrade copy of windows for cheap you will have to stick someone to upgrade from on there first like vista if you have a key kicking about

I *think* you can do a fresh install and just put the vista key in to prove you have it

Well my Vista was pre-installed on my existing system so I don't have any keys to use, looks like it would have to be a full purchase at a scary £100+ then

..... think this idea has gone out the window, its going to cost me near £200 just to get a SSD in, up and running

Thanks for your replies though Pancake
