Question How to rebuild icons in WinXP ??

I had some issues w/ a backdoor tkx to Kazaa but now it's fixed. The problem is, in the midst of all that all my Windows Icons got terribly messed up, they all appear to be in 16 colors..... deeply ugly mess.... I'm in the dark as to how to fix this w/o reinstalling everything (which isn't an option right now).

    Need your help guys.

    Tkx a lot

Well, I kinda solved my problem by just switching to the 24bit color mode display.... cheap way to do it since I'd prefer sticking with the 16bit mode but ....... well it works...

if any of you have hints about how to keep to the 16bits mode and solve my problem (cause it comes back when I go back to 16 ) let me know what you all think.

Get TweakUI for XP (will be on MS's download pages (somewhere...)) then rebuild the icon cache by:

Clicking on Repair, select Rebuild Icons, then Repair now.

Thats the only suggestion Ive got for ya buddy.
