About LinkBacksThe icons for my computer, my network and recycle bin have disappeared somehow(ie they jsut show as blank icons in explorer, as you would see a file without a program attached to it). Any idea how to get them back?

I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

Try here , you need to "restore the windows icon cache", I am assuming windows XP as you dont mention it otherwise google the string in the inverted commas.
