Firefox won't.....

...let me sign in on a web site forum called Netwings.

Its a flight sim thing....and I cant log in

www.netwings.org.

gutted...have to use IE ...

the password and stuff go in, BUT it just goes back to the main page and I'mnot signed in.

Have hit refresh incase its the old page, but NOPE

Any ideas? Its not critical.....IE is still here

It's because of poor web design I would have thought. Some sites are badly programmed and only work in IE. I doubt there is much you can do at the moment except ask the site owner to look into it, possibly upgrade the forum software. It might be possible to make it work by changing the User Agent string that Mozilla sends to the web server to make the server think you are using IE but off the top of my head I can't remember how to do that in Firefox. I'll have a look into it

dont fret it Az....it just incase you all knew of a quick fix...I wont pester the netwings guys....its run on a "shoe string" budget anyway.

odd, I use firefox and I've been able to use netwings for ages..

In that case check your privacy settings Zak and make sure you aren't preventing cookies being set as that may be the issue although I doubt it

might be worth clearing out your cookies as well, now and again I've noticed they can get a bit corrupted.
