    Vinyl/tape PC recording

What programs are out there which you can record from tape and it will automaticallly clean it and stuff like that. A list and how good you have heard them rated would be good. The cheap or really expensive is ok.
I dont really want to have to tweak it alot and one with lots of built in auto stuff would be good.

Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 2004 Deluxe any good?

Have used Sound Forge 7.0, but mainly for cleaning tape rather than vinyl. The auto tools in that are designed for vinyl and thers plenty of preset options. Think you can download a demo of it to try. Just wondered how your connecting the record deck to the pc?

I was going to just take the headphone socket from the amp or from the mixer and stick it in the line in or microphone. ill just play with it and see what sounds best.

I was wondering about soundforge but i couldnt remember if it had auto tools or not... thanks.
