How to save m4v file to PC

Hello all,

I am trying to save a few educational videos to my PC so that i can view them at a convenient time and without any lag.
They are of m4v format and i'm unsure of how to save these.

If anyone can help me, that would be great.

M4v is just mpeg I think, try vlc player

This. It's just the iDevice friendly extension for an MPEG4 file, so VLC and maybe even WMP will play it without any issue

FWIW m4v is the default extension on Handbrake when converting to MP4 but you can turn it off
