Foobar all the way.
Foobar all the way.
MediaMonkey or Songbird were always my apps of choice.
windows media player for music and vlc for all my movies. - simples!
foobar allows you to sync with an ipod too without having to use itunes.
for video, VLC hands down. I see a lot of mentions for 'bloaty' music players - if you want something that controlling, I found Zune (microsoft) to be particularly good.
Winamp all the way for me. I started using itunes for a few months when I first got a ipod but hated it due to poor indexing, sub par sound quality and slow!
Foobar is good, lots of add on components and a nice simple interface.
I had forgot about Winamp and I had to check it out and not only checking it I have installed it on my Laptop and when I get home tonight I shall install on my Main PC, thanks for the heads up.
Haven't used WinAmp for ages! Been using VLC since
Wow, I might as well try some other players instead of relying to WMP lol
My HTPC: Linky
Both VLC and Foobar
I Love this one

i use itune for audio and kmplayer for both video and audio
Another vote for foobar
I've stuck with Winamp for all audio through the years. I tried Foobar2000 a while back but I'm convinced I found something mildly annoying with it and just went back to Winamp. I'm a bit curious that I can't remember what I found annoying though..
In Linux I usually go with the Audicious player, which has a classic interface that looks like Winamp. I'll take a look on AIMP, looks neat from the screenshots on it's official site.
