EAC Question

Hi chaps I use the EAC program to rip my audio cd’s on my computer, of late I have not had a internet connection. So when I rip the cd’s it does not have any information about the cd’s and when you play the tracks in winamp it just says ‘unknown artist’

So what I want to know is – once you do connect to the internet is there a piece of software that will allow me to obtain the information about the artist.. or am I being silly!

tag & rename should be able to do the trick, if i recall correctly.

tag and rename, is that a program or a tool of EAC? sorry i don't have the pc with me as i'm at work, but the idea is to bring it in as i have ripped a good 300 songs with no name information.

TagScanner is another piece of excellent software for tagging music

cheers howard, tag & rename has just done all my albums that were not named, i have about 3000 loose MP3's that don't have info that tag and rename could not do so i might see if TagScanner can help.... is TagScanner freeware?
