bigadv on x6?

Is it still possible? most of the threads on it are quite old and there is talk about there being new BA16 work unit out there.

Weren't the new BIGADV limited to 12(16?) cores?

That way the work units will be much too big for an X6 to handle, even heavily overclocked.

Correct. I've recently received one of the old (6900) BIGADV work units as part of the SMP program, so I think they've inclued the OLD BIGADV in with the SMP's and created a new requirement for BIGADV's of 16 cores.

You could try setting up a virtual machine, and then fooling that into believing you've got 16 cores I'm sure I posted how to do that around here before) but I think an X6 will, even heavily overclocked, meet the deadlines.
