[fixed]Animated gifs working CPU in firefox

Anyone else spotted this? When I reply to a post on Hexus and the animated gifs under the box are on screen, I notice my CPU frequency jump to around between 80-90% (still minor load, but the higher frequency interferes with some power saving). Just tried IE and there's no such CPU loading. Uninstalled Chrome so can't test, but is this a known problem with FF (whatever latest auto update version is)?

EDIT: oh, update was pending. Installed, and no-longer see this behaviour (which I'd reproduced over several days). fixed.
