    Adobe Acrobat

I was just wondering if you guys could recommend the best version of Adobe Acrobat to buy. Its actually for my father becuase he is a professional writer/environmental consultant he is always writing and he would like to have a rep laid out like in pdf and have the other feature that pdf gives.
Could you guys recommend which version to buy, I have seen the Pro and Standard versions but I dont know the difference.
    Cheers guys

Have you looked at PDF 995 ?

It's probably not got as much functionality in it as Acrobat, but its a great basic PDF writer.

Well, my father is after something pretty proffessional, so he would prefer to get the best version as he will be using this almost every day and he says he doesn't mind paying a fair bit for it.
I was just really wondering if you could tell me which is better to get, the proffessional version or just standard?
Cheers anyway guys, ill be using either cutepdf or pdf 995 for myself anyway

Well, I dunno really..but couldn't you or your father go to visit a store where they sell stuff like that? I guess it would be easier for you both if you got an answer from here, but if you don't find a good/clear answer, you could always go for that

Hehe, okay..that is a usual problem when it comes to PC stores! In some there are people that knows hardly nothing Which is quite irritating if you really need something. Once I went with a friend to a pc store and asked for a keyboard or similar..and the person said she hadn't heard it..she had to ask a guy who checked in their catalouge, and saw it then had to go to the computer to search for it on their website and then..went to get it
