Prime95 errors, what do they mean? Other software for testing, monitoring?

Hi I am fairly new to overclocking, I understand how to overclock, but I don't necessarily understand everything that Prime95 outputs.

A common error I get is:
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4 or something similar. I have read this could be due to memory? Anyhow I always stop the test and reduce the multiplier on the CPU to avoid further problems.

What does this error code mean? What does this error mean?:

    ILLEGAL SUMOUT Restarting test

Also what does small/large FFT test do? I suppose I need to see if an error is caused by heat, power, RAM or the CPU (too high overclock/not enough volts).

Are there any other stress testing for the CPU I can download? I want to make sure the overclock is good on my CPU. I stop the test after any error is output, not knowing if it is actually CPU related, so I never get to my highest overclock.

Need some good software to stress test the CPU just to make sure. Any other monitoring tools available would be appreciated.

Check this thread http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2195063 about stability tests and list of programs you can use.

Last time, when I overclocked my C2D E8400 to 4GHz and DDR2 combo, first I run Memtest for 12hr to check RAM, then Orthos in blend mode for 18hr. It took some time, but after that I had no problems with my gaming ring.

Error you are getting is probably due to too low voltage or too high multilayer.

I use Intel Burn Test, i find it better than prime95 and cains the CPU and RAM alot harder.
