Problem with a friends computer.

I bloke I work with said he was having problems with his computer and that he keeps getting an error message when opening programmes, such as Explorer and Outlook.

I asked him to write down the error message that he was getting and I would have a look for him. (Not that I know much about error messages)

Anyways he brought me in a piece of paper with a load of doodles on it and a few lines of code, they are as follows

Appname: explorer.exe Appver 60.2800.1116
Modver 6.0.2800.116 Offset 0001dc15

and also the words Modnum and Winnet dll were on this bit of paper, dunno if they are anything to do with the problem.

All I can find was some German forum with someone who looked like they had the same problem. I think I gathered from some reply that you download this:

And put it in your system and/or system32 directories. Hope that helps? :s
