    Download Managers

What download manager really works? Been trying to pick a decent one when all you ever hear is how improved download speeds are and to resume downloads etc, finally wanted to test the water but i dont know where to start, whats your favourite?

    Re: Download Managers

If you want a free one then - free download manager. I won internet download manager in a comp and must admit I have been very pleased with it as it does everything you want from a DLM. You can also use firefox's download manager if you like.

    Re: Download Managers

Free Download Manager. They've added all sorts of fluff over the years apparently, but if you disable or don't use all of the unnecessary features then there's a very good, very simple piece of software behind it that's reasonably customisable.

    Re: Download Managers

Cool, saw it in the freebies list but wasnt sure if it was still good, sounds like most software now adding so much fluff but keeping the original good stuff intact .

Will give it a try now!.
