    .WPD files?

    Not sure if this is in the right place but here goes anyway:
    I recently received some copies of an old company newsletter which I need to read, and upon receiving them I saw that they were in wpd format e.g.
    Newsletter0302004.wpd
    My main question is what is .wpd and how can I read it.
    I guessed it was Word Perfect Document but i'm still not sure.
    Thanks for your help guys

    Ah MS Works, the peasant's version of Office...

    That file extension has caused me some grief - I ended up installing Works
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Hey, i've got MS Works

    I assume it's a WordPefect document, it should open no problem in Microsft Word if you have the correct filters installed.

    Well, It doesnt want to open in my version of Word, i'll check it out on my other machine (which came with works)
    It is very annoying how they can't just have one file extension per file type, not 4 or 5!

    Doesnt windows find you the program? It does for me!

    MS works is a bunch of apps that serve no purpose what so ever!

    You can find out if you have the correct MS Word filters installed by opening word, click file>open, in the 'files of type' drop down check for WordPerfect 6.x (*.wpd). If the filter is there, and word dosn't open it, then it's not a WordPerfect 6 document, or its corrupt. G'luck

    don't think it supports them, not at first glance, anyway.
