    Sounds like the upgrade version of 8 will just accept the RP build as a qualifying install - I wonder if *any* build will qualify. I suspect the upgrade version could be very relaxed in what it accepts..

    This news is over a month old though!

    This is actually quite good news for me (my finger is never on the pulse!) as I'm about to build a back-up box for my mini server and had been looking at Storage Spaces and the RP but the thought of having to rejig it all in the (comparatively) near future put me off. Hopefully it's true for us U.K. types too.
