    Firefox Probs

    Been using firefox for awhile and i've started to notice a problem.
    When either on my main rig or on my dads internet rig, I connect to the net (yes, i do have dail up ) and type in an address (usually forums.hexus.net) and it waits, and then says "forums.hexus.net could not be resolved" and nothing happens.
    I close down Firefox, open up IE type in said address and it loads. I got into FF again, type in said address and all is fine
    Help would be appreciated

    Proxy settings?
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I get that sometimes, as much as I like Firefox I seem to be increasingly switching back to IE just to get some sites to work properly.

    Biggest irritant to me is when i click on a URL in firefox -- nothing happens, I have to right click on the url and select 'open in new window'

    I have ZA but not any proxys. I don't really think ZA would be the problem as FF is cleared for comms to the net through it.
    It is hard to diagnose aswell as it only happens sometimes

    I never get this problem... and I don't have a software firewall.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    I never get that problem and I do run a software firewall. Only problem I have had with Firefox so far is that my local Councils website does not support it for taking online payments, so that's the only thing I have to use IE for at the moment.

    Skii mate - click with the mousewheel to open an URL... and to save your sanity - get the tabbrowser plugin, and set it to open a new tab on a left click
