Thumbs up USB Immunizer (protects your USB drive against autorun viruses)

    http://labs.bitdefender.com/projects...izer/overview/

Neat little tool, what it does is create an autorun.inf file that is blank and then removes all permissions from the file. This way, it can't be opened, edited, replaced or removed.

Great if you have a USB drive that you'll be plugging into other people's machines

It's a standalone exe. The only slight downside is you can't program a custom icon into the autorun file. This is such a small downside though

When you run it, it doesn't touch any other data on the flash drive, so don't worry about data loss etc

Yeah, better to do on the computer side than USB stick side. But you can also just create a folder called autorun.inf I think.

Sure it's better to do it on the computer side. But if you're going to other people's houses to fix their machines etc, it's an extra layer of protection
