basically, if i have no chrome windows open and get a desktop notification from live messenger & click it to open the inbox (or right click the msn icon and press open email inbox) chrome will open but be a blue/grey screen & act like an incognito window as the bookmark bar is there, i can do nothing with it apart from close the window, manually open a new chrome then i can click from the msn icon and get to my inbox.
I have uninstalled both msn and chrome but it still happens, IE9 works fine!

anyway, it took a dislike to the live messenger compatibility mode (thats still working on the laptop.)
