XP SP2 : List of programs that need "tweaking" to work.

Microsoft have released a list of programs that need a few "tweaks" as we say to work correctly with Windows XP SP2.

on another list the number of effected programs is MUCH larger, mostly games.

i herd there was trouble with nero? is this true?

Nero works fine on mine.

I use veritas too hopefully that will be ok cause its a pain in the a55 to get working right.

We have had no problems with either 5.x and latest version of 6.

nero is in that list

Well none of our versions have had any problems. Maybe because we keep them to the most uptodate versions.

just slipstreamed winxp & sp2, went to install and nero 6 and a windows msg popped up saying there could be probs, but the latest nero update sorts that as statedby atomic above, so peeps should get that aswell

so really it needs a newer version of sp2 released as having bugs and needing tweaks aint exactly an improvement is it lol

It's a joke they released this without compatability for anti-virus or firewall programs....

way to go increasing security microsoft.

Nearly all of these 'problems' can be solved with turning off the firewall security that comes turned on as default with XP Sp2. It's not exactly tricky, it's just that a lot of Windows users just don't know enough about Windows.
