Starter: 8GB
Home Basic: 8GB
Home Premium: 16GB
Professional: 192GB
Enterprise: 192GB
Ultimate: 192GB
i got home premium edition. ah max 16GB but my mobo supports 32GB.
@chuckskull what about windows 8? there is more than one edition of that?
Windows 8 standard supports up to 128GB and pro 512GB. 32bit versions are, as always, limited to 4GB.
You'll need an OS that can handle 32GB RAM to make use of your motherboard's full capacity. However 16GB will be more than enough for a while yet.
