    Set Affinity

I know how to set affinity or priority for an application once it is running. Can I set it to run like this by default?

    Re: Set Affinity

It looks like you can modify the shortcut to do this.

Apparently, add the following to the target line:

    C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C start "" /affinity 1 "C:\Program Files\Application.exe"

Obviously change the application bit for whatever it's supposed to be.

Where I've written "1", that tells the PC to run it on Core 0. If you want a different combo, it gets a bit complex, this seems like the best guide: http://www.techenclave.com/guides-tu...95/#post393363 (probably best to read the whole thread if you're interested in setting up unlikely combos, there are some conflicting comments)
