    Thumbs up Any video converter....again!

    Hi all,

A newbie here with my 1st post, hope you've all had a pleasant Xmas.

I've just started using the above mentioned s/w. A reg'd full version!!

I've just converted a 1.8gb xvid file to DVD and when I've tried to burn it to a disk using windows DVD maker I'm getting a message saying that the file is too big to fit on a 4.7gb DVD+R disk!
I know I must be doing something wrong but does anyone know what?

I previously used convertx to DVD s/w which kept crashing during the burn process so I switched to AVC.

THank you folks and have a great new year.

Try Sothink movie dvd maker, its free from download.com. Easy to use, but when burning a dvd using the free version, for 5 seconds at the beginning is an advert saying thanks for using sothink dvd maker. Not a big deal at all.

Freemake, Handbrake, Wonderfox, Aimersoft are all good.
