    Best XP Configuration Progam?

Any suggestions? Stuff like tweaking the UI, disabling Auto-run that sort of thing...

    I've got Tweak-UI...

Blimey...... so much to do to the basic configuration!

I ended up getting a tweak program to do the lot for me (can't remeber which, will look when I get home) - Yes essentially it's all registry tweaks but I'm getting lazy in my old age!

Anti-spy XP was one I looked at - stops XP "phoning home"; Essentially stopped reporting errors, Automatic updates and stuff. Not something I needed though as mine is legit

Take a browse through Tweak-XP for some ideas

Have to say I just use XP antispy, Tweak UI, DrTCP. I tend to change the services by hand.

Here's a handy command to pop in the run box posted on the old forum by either caged or gordy? for removing MSN after doing what you can via add/remove programs first.
    RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

And to use the themes on customize.org without using StyleXP, you just have to replace the uxtheme.dll in the Windows\System32 folder.

Xteq X-Setup is occasionally useful too, although a lot of it is just aesthetic stuff.
