    Windows 8 - 64 bit

Where can I get Windows 8 preview 64bit ISO and will it install at this point in time?

From this I believe I can upgrade online for £24 to get up and running with Windows 8 64 bit.

The problem I have is coming from XP you would arrive at 32 bit Windows 8 via the online upgrade and not 64 bit.

    One more question (actually 2)

If you go XP 32 > WIN8 32 via the online upgrade can you later install WIN8 64 bit from DVD upgrade media (currently £45) and use the key code from the online upgrade process to activate the 64bit install.
Can I upgrade 6 XP machines online to windows 8 32 bit to get ligit win8 keys and then use a single more expensive DVD upgrade to switch to 64 bit.

Use *any* 64-bit PC, yours or a friend's, to download the 64-bit ISO. You can use that ISO subsequently to upgrade your 32-bit machines.

Microsoft stopped allowing the Preview to be downloaded from their site, but you can download it from various other sources. You'll well within your right to simply download the preview from any of these sources if you intentions are to purchase the full version.

    Re: Windows 8 - 64 bit

You are going to have to use the upgrade installer on a 64bit OS to get the 64bit version of Windows 8. That being said you could always download a copy of Windows 7 something and then use it to upgrade to windows 8. Get an iso for Win 7 from mydigitallife
