    Installing Win XP

    Hello
I used to like to install prevous versions of windows by coping the CD onto the hard drive and running setup from there as it was much quicker and easier to cahnge or repare windows later..
With XP and NTFS this does not seem to be possible anymore and I have to boot the the XP CD.
Anyone know a way round this.
    Thanks in advance

    Kev

I think you're probably going to get told off for that, as it's attempting to circumvent the copyright protection...although I'm sure someone will point it out if I'm wrong

If you have a spare PC you could make it a RIS box (Remote Installation Services) and install Windows XP via the network.....
