3D interior and exterior design software?

    Hello all.

I was wondering if anyone can help with some information about 3D design software. Basically this software is needed to design the interior and exterior of a house including grounds. This is for a friend who is just starting out in business and needs from time to time design and show the interior of a property, including new fittings and work surfaces/furniture and so on. Is it possible to have something fairly simple to use or is it going to need time to it?

I know a simple app for this sort of thing may be asking a bit much but as design isnt my thing I thought id ask see what others knew of. I have of course googled and come up with various software including - Google skethcup, Sweet Home 3D and homedesignsoftware.

Any input would be really appreciated on what software is more suitable if anyone can please?

Not as useful as sketchup, but one thing i like to use is mydeco

Its an online tool that lets you design and furnish rooms based on 3d renderings of items that stores have for sale. It does not do exteriors though.
