Recommended Website that builds a basic website template?

    Hi.

is there a good site that allows you to simply setup and create a basic website without messing around with html/css code?

My friend wants to create a basic website for his business and he is a electrician. It most likely will only contain basic info aout his business. nothing fancy.

he doesnt mind paying a fee per month for one as well

    Thanks in advance

I know awardspace.com offer that service with free webhosting & better packages. There are also applications that can do this (xara.com). Also wix.com offer an online web design service.

I've had some experience with weebly and found it pretty good.

Re: Recommended Website that builds a basic website template?

my mum's used weebly for a couple of things and got on very well with it, which suggests it's pretty straightforward - she's not exactly technophobic, but she's not particularly technology-inclined either.

123-reg's basic packages come with web builders AFAIK - not used the web builders, but I do all my domain names through them, have had basic hosting from them in the past, and have always been happy with their service.

Wordpress is great. You can choose from a whole lot of themes that you can even customize.

    Hope that helps,
    Sarah
