I need help (as usual)

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of Windows Xp Home OEM with Service Pack 1a. My usual suppliers for WIndows OEM only sells SP2 now and i'm not ready to convert to SP2.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I looked on Ebuyer, and they only do a bundle Sp1a and some AV or XP Pro (which is too expensive!)

Most of the ones you buy at the mo are SP1a with a second disc containing SP2.

Dim question of the day what is an OEM version of windows?? Do you get the cd and a keycode? And I presume thers no problem buying an OEM versions. Its just that I cant see any reason to buy a retail pack if the OEM is so much cheaper.

OEM version of windows is for sale with a new PC only, hope you bought it with a new PC r1zeek or your supplier broke the law selling it you. also as I found out with windows OEM you can only activate it a few times a year, after that you call em up, if you have upgraded they will not activate it for you and tell you to buy the retail software

oem microsoft products are almost the same as the boxed products, but come with no tech support, box, or manual. they also have a slightly lower threshhold for activations, i.e. you may find yourslef needing to call up over hadware changes that regular retail would have ignored. staff training problems may lead to activation refusals, but according to the licensing terms they can only refuse you on the basis of breaking said license - and pc upgrades are fully covered. if they give you gip, then ring off, ring up again, and claim that their defective operating system wouldn't work, you've lost thousands of pounds of vital data, and if they don't give you an activation code you will sue them. or something.

there are also some restrictions over their purchase - notably, they can only be bought with "non-preipheral hardware" (microsoft's words not mine), so a cpu would count but not a joystick. a full new pc isn't required.
