    Weird issue when resuming from sleep with Puran Defrag...

    I sent an email to support earlier, but last time I did, they never replied to me!

    So I'll copy pasta what I sent them here, and hopefully some of you lot can help me

    I use Puran Defrag to a boot time defrag on my Windows 7 x64 system drive. On the additional operations page my settings are as follows:

    * Fill gaps to avoid frequent defragmentation = Off
    * Optimize directories for faster system access = On
    * Free some space for windows temporary files on faster disk area = On
    * PIOZR = On
    * Exclude files between x-x MB = Not used
    * Exclude files = Not used
    * Enable file defrag/right click... = On
    * Delete files in the list = Not used

    Now the problem I have is that after a defrag, I often wake my computer from sleep mode and it is very slow to respond. It loads the desktop up slowly and I can't click on anything, or there is a very slow response if I do. It usually sorts itself out after a few minutes and I can use the computer as normal. I normally put my computer to sleep rather than shutting it down, and this continues for a couple of weeks or so. Then things will go back to normal and this wont happen again until the next defrag. I do try restarting my computer after each defrag, but it doesn't help. I'm not quite sure what it is about Puran Defrag that is causing this. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Edit: Dammit I forgot to add that sometimes the computer restarts itself a few times trying to boot up from sleep. Sometimes I get an option to delete the system resume data and boot normally. I think the state of the computer that is saved to ram/hdd is getting corrupted or something maybe?

    Personally I'd just stop using it if that's causing the problem, defragging is seriously overated tbh. Built my PC last year and my drive is still only 4% fragmented after installing over 1.3tbs worth of stuff to it i find windows one more then sufficient.

    Well I could just switch program, sure. But I want to solve the issue as Puran is my favourite

    That's good for you man, but my hdd gets to 4% fragmentation every week or two, easily! I'm not saying Windows defrag is bad or anything, it's just way to slow for me. Also I like doing the boot time defrag with Puran as it's much more effective. Thanks for your reply though
