I'm new here so I may ask wrong question.
I'm planning on installing a new hard drive on an HP media center.
It currently is running a 32 bit xp. The new one is 64 bit windows home. After installing, I then plan on reinstalling the old hard drive as secondary.
Quesions are, will 7 boot right from disc.? Any other problems I can expect after moving to 64 bit? Using old HD as secondary, will I be able to run files as they are in 32 bit? Will I be able to boot from 2nd HD with 32 bit os?
I know this is a lot to ask. Trouble is, i may have more questions.

    1. If your CPU supports x64 then yes you can install win 7 x64.
    2. Yes win 7 will boot from the cd as long as you tell your computer to boot from cd/dvd.
    3. You shouldn't have any problems once its installed.
    4. Yes you can use your 2nd hard drive to install windows 32bit as they can dual boot.
