    Good books to learn from

    can anyone recomend a good book for learning Dreamweaver, Java and programming websites in general?

    to learn Dreamweaver i would recommend just playing around with it yourself, that's how i learnt, you don't need a book to teach you and if there's something you really need to know then just look for an online tutorial.

    For other programming languages there are loads. I couldn't recommend one myself because i have not purchased a book on programming yet because i learn from the web. Check out www.w3schools.com to learn about a number of web based programming languages. I learnt HTML and CSS there and just playing around with it myself. Read over and over the tutorials for it to stick in your head and actually apply it to an actual test website to make sure you can do it.

    For more advanced programming languages it's best to get a book for it. It all depends on what you know already.
