Dunno if this even exists, but since scanners can do OCR, I was wondering if some software can do this as well?

Yes it does, takes a bit of time though and for me sticks the text into Microsoft Excel not Word.Originally Posted by Howard

I use scansoft omnipage SE, and it seems to work fine. Goes into what ever type of file I tell it to, and can also be done from a file too so that's handy. It came with my printer/scanner, so I have no idea how much it'd be, or even if a free/trial version is avaliable.
A few years back, I tried textbridge on my parents PC/scanner. Maybe it was because the software wasn't that good, or the scanner is compartivly old now, but it hasn't done anywhere near as good a job as omnipage.
even random pen ink marks such as lines get intreprated as ewhehw when I tried yesterday.
!Cool!
