    Windows 8 Question

So I have been running Windows 8 for approximately 3-4 months now and I love it. The only minor problem that I can't figure out is when I save a picture to a hard drive, the pop - up takes a while to show up.

I have set to save pictures on a different hard drive. Any ideas? Thank you

I just tried this on my Windows 8 PC, I went to a website, right clicked on an image and selected save as, for me the dialog came up immediately.

If I were to guess I would say it might be a codec issue where you don't have the right codec on the device to play mkv files, or the coding for the mkv files is 'broken' ie. the original author has changed parameters when he/she coded the video and these are outside the normal range for an mkv file. But I'm not very good at guessing games.

Also when you say funny, do you mean funny haha or funny peculiar? For some reason, when I read funny, it came across as dodgy or suspicious, like the kind of funny video you wouldn't want your wife to know you've been watching.

You'll need to convert the MKV video to MP4.
