    She does realise that if she doesn't sign into her account every 28 days, hotmail switch off the account?

    You should also advise her to use a complex password - Preferably containing numbers and Characters;

    Never had any problems with hacking, I've had my account for a while though and get at least 23425689 spam e-mails a day!

    Well tbh the Hotmail "hacking" comes as a result of choosing a piss easy to guess "secret" question. Just type a load of random stuff and make sure you remember the password and you'll be OK.

    Well my hotmail account has 4 digits to the password. Yes you are correct, it was created a few days after hotmail started! beat that!!! and no it hasn't been hacked in the many many years i've had the account and yes microsoft did sort out my spam problem so i only get up to 8 junk e-mails a week which go to my junk mail folder!

    Microsoft rawk with my hotmail account \o/

    yaeh, it's amazing how many people's secret question is something like 'What is my dad's first name?' then the answer is 'John' or something
    i just do what dadofsam does.
